The Global Alliance of Horticulture Regions is now a reality! This international association as partnership of leading horticultural regions around the world was launched on 8 June 2026 in the Municipality of Westland in the Netherlands. During a seminar at the World Horti Center, the Governor of Kochi (a horticultural region in Japan) signed the first Certificate of Membership, together with the Mayor of Westland, and our brand-new website was launched. All of this took place under the watchful eye of a large number of international delegations and diplomats. With that, the Global Alliance of Horticulture Regions is officially established. We are very much looking forward to a flourishing worldwide network organization for horticultural regions and municipalities.
