Last week, on the invitation of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, we were able to present the Global Alliance of Horticulture Regions at the Latin America and Caribbean Business Dialogue in The Hague. Co-organized with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassies of Latin American and Caribbean countries in the Netherlands (GRULAC), it was a great opportunity for us to exchange knowledge and views on geopolitical developments, innovations in controlled environment agriculture, the role of regions and municipalities in ensuring food security, as well as practicing food diplomacy. We’re looking forward to continuing working together with all kinds of different stakeholders in this part of the world to achieve these common goals.
The first Annual General Meeting of the Global Alliance of Horticulture Regions will take place in Colón, Mexico. On 12 March 2027, straight after the GreenTech Americas in neighbouring Querétaro. We hope to see you all there!
